Known by most as Sigmund “the pretender” an illusionist wizard from a Viking raider clan in the frozen north. His father was a beast of a man immortalized for his act of holding off an entire raiding party on his own after running 15 miles to warn his village. Afraid of what his people would think of him for being a scrawny weakling brain boy as opposed to the mountain of flesh his father is. He uses illusion magic to make himself seem more like his father. Coining the name sigmund to distance himself further from the legend of his father, the title “the pretender” an insult coined by his fellow Vikings to insult him he adopted the name when he left for the mainland. Plays a bit like a less meta, somber and mellow Deadpool. Often likened to Loki for his antics.....was disintegrated by a beholder...if only he was playing pretend,

My gloomstalker character backstory: As a child chills on a dock Earthquake happens and falls into the water A vortex appears (the earthquake opened a hole) Gets dragged into the underdark Here he finds his gloomstalker teacher One of those evil elves (forgot their name) Evil elv is old so he decides to teach this young kid how to hunt and survive so that the kid can later on help him survive (The elv btw got exiled by his clan) Eventually the teacher dies and with centuries of experience my character makes it back to the surface (my character is a long lived elv) Family is happy he is back but he definetly changed alot Also since he is a noble he is the "minister of food" from the elven city and manages everything about it (food is rly important bcs you starve alot in the underdark) Later on leaves the city to defeat the cause of the earthquake back then (plot of the campain)

I'd really love the idea of Raith patron just being a fucking prankster and fucking with it's luck (rolls) just to see what happens. Just frat roomate kind of patron, all of the charm, none of the responsability for it's cultists.
